Cool Hall Of Judgement

Ok, so I was farming the Smites, and figured, heck, why not look around. So, barely managing running past the coldfires on that dirt road NW (I believe), I came across a giant hall, with an empty door, 2 grate-like things in the floor, and a room, with the doors ajar, with glimmering light shining through. So I figured....wiki has no lore on this...why not come up with some? So I thought I'd post a summary of my thoughts.

"When the Underworld has been cleansed of the eternal foulness, that entered through the portal we enter upon, the souls are now free to explore the area they rest upon. However, only the bravest and justified may be called by Grenth's thundering voice, to take the journey through the land of the Smite Crawlers, and through the paths of the Coldfire Nights. Once the soul has reached it's destination, it comes across the most beautiful architecture anyone of the mortal relm may lay eyes upon. It is assumed the entrance to the hall of heros. It is the final resting place of the brave. This where they see the light, and enter to fight the best and the bravest in Hero's eternal combat, over the one TRUE victor. This is where Grenth and his most trusted advisors meet to judge the soul.

The Underworld is the waiting room to be judged, while the Hall of Judgement is the waiting room to join those bravest to combat the heros of eternity!

Here's some screenshots of the hall for those that can't find any.

EDIT: Can mods move to Lyssa's Fiction please? I'd imagine that's where it goes

Moved at OP request after just now looking in this thread. =x

It is at the far edge of the Wastes near the statue, go up the dirt road past some Coldfires and through a gate. I'll post a mini-map tomorrow.

Yeah, it's a pity it's that deserted. Would've been a nice place for the end-chest to spawn.

As far as I'm aware, Grenth can't judge souls because Dhuum and his minions are getting him all occupied. Also the Smites and Coldfires are not there because Grenth wants some kind of test for the souls, they are Dhuums servants infesting Grenths realm.

As soon as the Underworld is cleansed of Dhuums minions (by completing all quests), I'd imagine Grenth being able to judge souls again.

This is the place you should enter the UW (at least from the Lornar pass entrance...)

fighting your way though the ice until you reach the giant gate an then finally reaching the labyrinth where the real UW begins

That's what I intended, after it's cleaned, he rewards the heros and judges the inhabitants worthy of it. And it is a pity, it could be tele-able and not need a reaper or anything :P

Source of the names for this "Hall of Judgement" comes from the quest "Servants of Grenth"

Grenth's Palace Guards=Ice Elementals led by the Ice King. Grenth's Palace=that structure

And there we have an actual name for it. Hall of Grenth is 100% fan-named.

However, just because it is called "Hall of Judgement" doesn't mean it is where Grenth judges. It could mean where the judge (aka Grenth) lives. :P

Anyways, known lore on smites and those coldfires etc.:

That could also be the lore behind the Ice Elementals and Ice King within UW as well.

That quote isn't saying anything about the Smites or Coldfires, which are imo the invaders. The guards against the intruders are the ones that became the Ice Elementals and Ice King, the first worshipers.

Yes, I misread it. I thought it was a sarcastic town reading as "the worshipers of the first god of death were ..."

Darn my random dyslexia. :x

Also, Helix, like I said before, just because it is called Hall of Judgement doesn't mean it is where judgement takes place. It could be where the judge lives.

Just trying to state other possibilities. Both are equally likely since only the name is given, not the purpose.
